My pine furniture is of a high standard, both in construction and finish. The cabinet backs, drawers etc are tongue and grooved with machine dovetails, no plywood, chipboard or MDF is used. All surfaces are well sealed to protect against damp. The finished article will have had three full coats of lacquer, rubbed down between coats and then waxed to a pleasing finish, which can be natural, or to the colour required by the customer.
